Diego Wallraff has worked extensively in
film, television and theatre in the USA as well as Europe, South
America, South Africa, Australia and South East Asia.
On the big screen: Wallraff co-starred in Mira Nair's
romantic comedy The Perez Family with Anjelica
Huston and Marisa Tomei and in Of Love and Shadows with
Antonio Banderas and Jennifer Connelly.
Wallraff also starred in the critically acclaimed film Schattenboxer
by German director Lars Becker.
For television: Wallraff completed 2 seasons of the
international action series Largo Winch which was filmed
on location in Montreal and Paris and was successfully sold to over 40
Countries.
Based on a French Comic Strip this series was realised as a 5-Country
co-production between USA (Paramount), France (M6), Belgium
(Dupuis), Germany (PRO7) and Canada (Global).
Other television credits include: the MOW Try To
Remember with Gabrielle Anwar, the MOW Rush Of Fear
with Rosanna Arquette, the TNT feature Deadlocked with
David Caruso, the HBO thriller Exception to the Rule with
Sean Young and Kim Cattrall and TNT¹s Emmy-winning mini-series The
Bible: Joseph starring Ben Kingsley.
A graduate of The Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts in
Hamburg/Germany, Wallraff has also had starring roles in various
productions for German television such as the action series Delta
Team produced by the PRO7 TV-network.
He was a member of Hamburg's NATIONAL THEATRE
for 6 years under the artistic direction of
renowned directors Peter Zadek and Michael
Bogdanov before deciding to venture out to
Hollywood.
Colombian born Wallraff who was raised between
South America and Germany is fluent in English, Spanish
and German and resides now in Santa Monica, CA.
